Remembering Gregg Allman

Recently on May 27, 2017 Gregg Allman passed away due to complications from liver cancer. In the news and articles written since his passing. One of the most enjoyable ones that I read was published in The Buffalo News on Sunday June 4, 2017. The article was titled “How Gregg Allman and Cher stunned Canisius High Assembly in 1976”. Sean Kirst wrote the article about Gregg’s super secret concert at the Catholic, Jesuit, college-preparatory High school in 1976. Gregg performed at the request of High School senior Brian Procknal who wrote to Gregg while Gregg was in rehab.
